  LWR continues to receive high rankings for its programs in direct service to people in need throughout the world.  LWR programs contribute 47 million dollars a year in direct service to people. 
  
  LWR's programs in agriculture focus on smallholder farmers and their families through sustainable agricultureal practices that build food security and increase rural incomes.
  
  LWR's programs in climate change focus on helping communities adapt to changing climate by promoting sustainable agriculture practices, disaster preparedness and risk management plans.
  
  LWR's emergency operations focus on helping rural communities perpare for disasters before they happen.  Promoting renewable energy sources and protecting natural assets.
  
  LWR works in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
  
  LWR supports the Farmers Market Coffee Program and the Eco-Palms program in partnership with the University of Minnesota Center for agricultural management.
