Hilltop congregation supports the Food Bank with cash and food contributions.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is the central depository and distribution center for food items to assist people with basic needs. The first distribution of 6,800 lbs. of food was made in December 1993. The Food Bank serves Elkhart, LaPorte, Kosciusko, Marshall, Starke and St. Joseph counties.
Today, nearly 13% of the residents of Northern Indiana are food insecure.
