• Becoming a member
• Children, adults, and people of all ages, are welcomed into the fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ through Holy Baptism.
  
  Young people who have been received into membership in the Body of Christ through Holy Baptism as children, are instructed in the fundamentals of the Christian faith as explained in Luther's Small Catechism.
  
  Active members of Christian congregations who move into the area are received as members of the fellowship of believers at Hilltop Lutheran Church of the Ascension, by a public profession of faith.
  
  Adults who wish instruction to become members, both, individually, or as a group, are instructed in the fundamentals of the Christian faith.  Meetings for instruction are scheduled when and where Christian instruction is requested.
