  • The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is the gift and grace in which we share the death and resurrection of Christ.  The Holy Spirit calls us by the Gospel and welcomes us into the kingdom of God through water and the Word.

Jesus said: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptiziing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.  Matthew 28:19

When the goodness  and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of deeds done by us in rightrousness, but in virtue of His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renwal in the Holy Spirit, which He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.  Titus 3:5-6
